The sky is turning amber. Are you ready to look up?

I saw the show preview last week, and I must say it's a hauntingly beautiful portrayal that stays with you long after the curtain falls.

@Sarabjeet Singh Arora, I’m truly speechless after experiencing the play you directed. It was one of the most powerful performances I’ve ever seen.
I especially appreciated your choice of dialogues and the unique concept of the main character speaking to a photo of her husband. It was incredibly moving and deeply impactful.

THE AMBER GREY SKY - Creator Sarabjeet Singh Arora, sensitively scripts and directs a touching moving true story based on the 1984 riots in Punjab. Through the medium of a dead mother, played so movingly by Taran Bamrah, it is a 45 minute solo act. Taran does not let your attention divert for a single second of those 45 miniutes. She is the loving wife, the caring mother, the scared daughter in law - Laughing, surprised, terrorized, fearful she brings every emotion at play to her performance. The play itself leaves you traumatized - numbed. It is a play every human should watch - to see how our kind can turn from good to bad with the turn of a switch

It was the best 1 person play I have ever seen.

Glad I got a chance to attend the performance today. Thanks for giving voice to such a tragic and integral chapter in lives of many sikh families, including mine. The storytelling, dialogues and Taran’s performance were all so powerful and poignant. Kudos!

I just wanted to tell you how incredibly proud I am of you after watching your play. It was truly masterful. The way it carried me from such light, airy joy—when she was singing and sharing the beauty of her life—into the deep, crashing weight of the 1984 experiences… it was so powerful and unforgettable.
Taran, you performed with such grace and depth, completely pulling me along on that emotional journey. But what stayed with me most was the conversation afterward.

The solo performance was nothing short of phenomenal. The actor beautifully carried multiple roles with such authenticity that you could feel every moment, expression and emotion in your core. It’s a must-watch. This play is impactful for those who have lived through the events of 1984, but also for those who did not experience it first hand. It doesn’t just tell a story—it makes you feel it, remember it, and carry it forward!
